David McLeod is the vice president and chief information security officer for Cox Enterprises, a leading communications, media, and automotive services company. He is responsible for information risk governance, cyber security strategy and program execution for Cox Enterprises and Cox Media Group. Previously, McLeod spent seven years in IT risk and cyber security leadership positions for retail organizations including Walmart, VF Corporation and JCPenney. McLeod is a founding board director for the R-CISC. He received his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Clemson University.
